Undelivered emails: burning a hole in your pocket?

If you’re embarking on an email marketing campaign, measuring how many of your mailouts aren’t reaching their destination should be top of your priorities.

However, according to the E-consultancy/Adestra Email Marketing Industry Census 2008 marketers are throwing away around 11% of their budget on undelivered emails.

There are myriad reasons why your lovingly designed eshot may never reach the recipient – so if you don’t have tools to assess and measure deliverability you may as well pour money down the plug hole.

There a plenty of tools out there to help and improving  deliverability can be as simple as changing one html tag. So there’s no reason to be losing out.
