Qube’s big day out

We had a grand day out yesterday at the Wired Sussex Jobs and Skills fair. The yearly event held at the Brighton Corn Exchange is a great opportunity for people looking to work in digital industries, and for companies to find new people to work with.

The Qube stand was a huge success , even if we did get a tiny bit envious early on about the fact that everyone else had branded pens.

We got to chat to some very interesting people, including a very talented illustrator and some nice folk from the University of Brighton as well as a whole bunch of people who were very excited about the new opportunities.

It was also the awards ceremony for the Wired Sussex Internship programme, so our former interns Glenn and Tom went up to collect their certificates and get their photos taken. We’re ever so proud of them.

The photos are all up on the Brighton Jobs Fair website, and there are some lovely ones of Nigel giving his speech at the awards ceremony so go and check them out.

A big thankyou to everyone at Wired Sussex who helped make the event such a success, and we look forward to taking part again next year.
